How music videos have changes and progressed through time

  • There is no colour it is in black and white 
  • Just instramental  no actual words being used 
  • There were only men in the video 
  • Only one shot in this video 
1929 st louis blues 
  • Still in black and white 
  • mixed genders in this video 
  • Vocals are very good 
  • There were only two angle shots in this one 
1950 elvis Presley jailhouse rock 
  • The pace of the song is much more faster and upbeat 
  • Much more dance moves 
  • Still in black and white 
  • Band playing in the background 
  • Had some comedy features in the video 
  • Much more shots and angles in this video 
1960 bob dylan don't look back 
  • Still in black and white 
  • Music playing in the back 
  • Can't actually see the man singing this but a man is holding up cards that reads what the man is saying in the song 
  • More of a fast pace  
  • Only one main shot is used in this video which is on the man with the cards 
  • Now starting to introduce lyrics
  • A lot more meaning behind it
